This year's photo of LSUE's Anita Dupre, shown
in the shot below, depicts her once again selling beignets and sweet
dough pies at the Catholic Daughters of America booth. The elevated stage was crowded with dancers of all ages, shown in mid-afternoon when Iota Police Chief Scotty Pousson and the Pointe aux Loups Playboys were performing. The Tee-Mamou Mardi Gras arrived about 2:30 p.m. In addition to begging, they also handed out candy. Click here for photos
